Fish & seafood
Depending on the catch: grilled fish, shellfish from the Thau lagoon, simple preparations that let the produce speak.

Seaside bistro · Since 2018
Fresh fish, local Sète specialities and homemade cocktails — on the terrace, facing the Thau lagoon.

The bistro
At 31 quai de la Résistance, Papy'J has been welcoming guests since 2018, facing the boats and the Thau lagoon. Generous brasserie cooking, seafood, and that evening light on the harbour you only find in Marseillan.
At the helm, a passionate restaurateur with more than thirty years in the trade, who has run up to three establishments. A professional's know-how with the warmth of a family house.
Our cooking
A short, seasonal menu between sea and land — to share or to savour.

Depending on the catch: grilled fish, shellfish from the Thau lagoon, simple preparations that let the produce speak.

Tielle, cuttlefish, stuffed mussels, brasucade… the great classics of Sète and Marseillan cooking.

To share over drinks or as a full meal: sharing boards, homemade tapas and fine cuts of grilled meat.

Our signature « Papy'J » cocktails, mixed at the bar, best enjoyed on the terrace at sunset.
