Data collected
When booking online: first name, last name, phone number, email, party size, requested date and time, and any note you add.
When sending a message through the contact form: name, email, phone (optional) and message.
No payment data is collected: booking online does not require any payment.
Purpose of processing
This data is used solely to manage your booking (confirmation, any adjustment, cancellation), reply to your message, and keep the service running smoothly, including preventing abusive bookings.
Legal basis
Processing is based on carrying out the request you initiated (a booking or a contact request), in accordance with Article 6.1.b of the GDPR.
Who receives your data
Your data is only accessible to the Papy'J team. It is never sold, transferred, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. It may be passed to technical providers strictly necessary to send confirmation emails and to host the site, solely within the scope of that role.
Retention period
Booking data is kept for as long as needed to manage your visit, then archived for the period required by legal and accounting obligations before deletion. Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data. You can exercise these rights by contacting us through the contact form or by phone. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
Cookies
This site does not use any audience-measurement or advertising cookies. Only a strictly necessary technical cookie may be set when logging into the admin area reserved for the restaurant's operator.
Security
Booking cancellation links are unique and cannot be guessed, and access to the admin area is password-protected. We take reasonable measures to protect your data against unauthorised access.
