The Justo family
The Justo family is passionate about hospitality. Today, that means the Bistrot Pap'y J, set in a former wine warehouse, serving traditional, bistronomic cooking. In the past, the family adventure also included Mamamita, the bar in the heart of town, and the Maison J artisanal workshop — that's where « La Bouchée Marseillanaise », a Marseillan speciality dreamed up by the family, was born. Both addresses have since been taken over by new owners.

Our former shop for local specialities, where we once made our family recipes with passion. It's here that « La Bouchée Marseillanaise » was born: a crisp tartlet filled with Mediterranean blue crab, finished with carefully chosen condiments — a true taste of our town.

Since 2018
Papy'J opened its doors in 2018 at 31 quai de la Résistance, facing the boats and the Thau lagoon. The idea was simple: a generous, no-fuss restaurant where guests come as much for the plate as for the view.
Since then, the terrace has become a Marseillan harbour landmark — for a quick lunch, a romantic dinner, or a sunset cocktail facing the water.

That know-how shows in the details — and above all in the dining room, where you'll often spot him between tables, checking in on regulars.
In the kitchen
