Our story
A seaside brasserie, driven by a genuine passion for the trade.

Since 2018
Feet on the harbour, cooking in the blood
Papy'J opened its doors in 2018 at 31 quai de la Résistance, facing the boats and the Thau lagoon. The idea was simple: a generous, no-fuss brasserie where guests come as much for the plate as for the view.
Since then, the terrace has become a Marseillan harbour landmark — for a quick lunch, a romantic dinner, or a sunset cocktail facing the water.
At the helm
A career restaurateur
More than thirty years in the restaurant trade, having run up to three establishments at once: Papy'J's manager knows the business from every angle.
That know-how shows in the details — and above all in the dining room, where you'll often spot him between tables, checking in on regulars.

In the kitchen
A brasserie menu, between sea and local terroir
Fish depending on the catch, shellfish from the Thau lagoon, Sète classics (tielle, cuttlefish, stuffed mussels, brasucade), tapas and generously grilled meats, homemade cocktails to enjoy on the terrace — and a children's menu for the whole family.
